 Environmental storm swept China, and packaging and printing chemicals factories around the country came to be shut down.

The 7th round inspection on environment pollution control had been completed on 20th. July 2017. From the perspective of instrial, the rubber and plastics manufacturing, coating and sprayinig, packaging and printing industries contributed the biggest share of VOCs emission.

By 31st. July, more than 10,000 pollution companies were ordered to suspend production or shut down ,including textile printing industry, the ministry said.

So what is the uniting factor for these diverse commodities? The environment. With the government putting pressure on inspectors to shut down polluting factories, mines, and processing facilities by September.

Such extended closures would make the current rally in Chinese commodity rices more than temporary. And an extented run in Chinese prices will almost certainly put upward pressure on world rate.
